Performance 2021
the late night WHO
A stage of fool’s freedom. An evening of liberation from worries and shame. The performers moderate, make music, dance, interview, and deliver stand-up monologues, creating an image of a glitter and glamour show for the audience. Their laughter is multiplied, exchanged, controlled, and merged into a composition of laughter. Yet, cracks disrupt the evening, revealing hidden glimpses into a vulnerable world just behind the humor. In the interplay between tension and release, dominance and submission, set-up and punchline, we navigate the imbalance of gender justice in the arena of humor.
